Our meal at Verandah was amazing! Our waiter was so nice and walked us through their menu and things he would recommend. For our anniversary they made sure it was special! We were offered a cocktail on them, and also got to pick out an appetizer on them as well. We got the crab dip and it was amazing! They also brought out the octopus which we were a little hesitant about, but it was so good with all the different flavors! For dinner I got the scallops and my husband got the steak and both were cooked very well. Some of the best scallops I’ve ever had. Our son who is 2 was also with us, and the wait staff was so catering to him which was very nice. We also enjoyed the amaretto olive oil cake which was amazing and some espresso martinis to end the night. Overall, we loved our experience and would recommend Verandah to anyone!

I honestly thought I’d already reviewed this gem! We’ve now visited 3 times and each time warranted a 5-star review. We’ve had the privilege of dining all over the island and the service and food are unparalleled here. Let’s start with the manager, Robert. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, you WILL be celebrated! When I made the reservation, I mentioned wanting to treat some dear friends and from the moment we showed up, Robert and his staff were clearly in on the mission (right down to personalized menus and champagne toast! WOW!). Everyone raved about the food and we covered the bases: steak, seafood, pasta. The restaurant is beautifully appointed inside. The only regret is the lack of a view, but it is nestled among the tennis courts. Thankfully there are beautiful live oaks surrounding the property to help w the ambiance but the real magic is what happens inside with the phenomenal staff and food! We’ll be back!

I'll just start out by saying this, if I could give this restaurant more than the five stars, we can create another universe for sure!! Our server was Jeffrey and our training server was Nancy. Spectacular service, the owner was so kind. This is a very well-rounded restaurant that has earned the credit given here!!! Very blessed to have experienced these people atmosphere and food. Best veal I have ever had!!!

The food was very tasteful and nicely garnished. Staff was attentive and entertaining. We enjoyed an appetizer with sourdough, the Local Grouper entree, and the Hazelnut Tiramisu dessert. Chairs we comfortable, and there was a lot of room between tables. The soft jazz music was acceptable.

Verandah deserves every bit of its 5-star rating! From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. The noise level was perfect, allowing for easy conversation throughout the evening. Our waiter, Michael, truly took our dining experience to the next level. He was professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and incredibly friendly. His recommendations were spot-on, and his attentiveness made us feel like valued guests. Speaking of the menu, it was unlike anything we'd seen before - unique and absolutely perfect. My scallops were cooked to perfection, and my wife's swordfish was equally delicious. The flavors were incredible, and the presentation was beautiful.

Wait...a rare 5 Star?? Indeed, took 11 guests out to try this place. Restaurant is very nice setting modern with some elegance. Once we were seated we were greeted by Philip, our waiter, and offered drinks. He suggested blue crab dip as appetizers and man was at a hit... We all cleaned out the bowls of that delicious concoction. As we all ordered our entrees we had our choice of soup or salads, I got their Caesar which was presented in a most unique way and was delicious. Some got the soup and it must have been very good because their bowls were licked clean: - ) as far as the entrees most of us got their Grouper, this is a delicious fish that I have only found available in Florida. The rest of the party had steak or scallops. I can tell you the grouper was without a doubt the absolute best I've ever eaten! One of my guests gets to eat grouper all the time he too made the same comment best ever... Turns out it's been on their menu for 30 years in a row now I know why. Those that had steak said they were fabulous with a delicious crusting and the others who had scallops said they were absolutely perfect. Naturally we all decided to have desserts and their selection was vast and again everybody cleaned their plate. Unfortunately, no one ordered a pasta dish something I believe they're known for as they make their pasta homemade fresh as needed daily right there. So that will have to be another trip and if it's anything like what we ate it will be fabulous. I should mention the level of service we had... Our water glasses were constantly topped off and the silverware and plates were constantly switched out between each course and any refresh on cocktails or wine or ass before a glass got empty. Everything came out and an excellent casual pace And I can assure you that in the kitchen they have a true chef... Not a cook! This was a true dining experience in the way they handled such a large crowd as ours was flawless. Well worth every single penny and more. Well I'm not a Forbes or Michelin rater, if I was, this place would certainly be extremely high on their recommendation chart and as far as me as I rarely issue a five-star across the board... This one has earned it from me

My girlfriend and I both had the pleasure of dining here last week and I am pleased to say we will absolutely returning. We ordered the Swordfish Skewers, Local Grouper, and the beef tenderloin all three were just right. So delicious! Service was excellent as well. I look forward to dining here again in the future.
